Hey all. I have an odd problem that I don't think I can solve but someone may have a bright idea.
I have installed a crucial mx200 in an all in one system but when scrolling windows and various other tasks I get a noise like that of a mechanical hdd coming from the location of the hdd (which is near the psu)
I turned off the monitor and simulated the same mouse movement and it was deadly silent.
I am thinking there is an issue with the monitor and some kind of cross talk.
As its an all in one the monitor is powered from the psu (I believe)
I could try switching off the monitor and running a separate monitor bit long term that not ideal as the all in one is a hulk to have alongside a secondary monitor.
It's not unbearable but the system would be totally silent were it not for this one noise.
Has anyone heard of this kind of issue before?
