HDD clicks 12 times on boot?

Hey all,

Really regretting buying from Ocuk right now... The bundle i bought isn't stable and now whenever i boot my pc... My hard drive clicks 12 times and then i get a disk boot failure alert... Is the HDD fudged already? Only had it 3 days -.-

it looks like but things like this can happen im sure ocuk will replace this for you nps if faulty ....they looked after me with my graphics card after it was found faulty after a week ...give there support line a ring.

Old saying that a HDD will last a life time or a few day... looks like yours is the latter

No need. When they test it (and they will), they should hear the clicking for themselves.

Then, you shouldn't have any problems getting it replaced.

get on to the hard drives manufactures website and download and run their diagnostic tool.
This should confirm that the drive is tatered or not
