HDD Data drive not detected

Added a data drive to my PC today, 1TB Seagate Barracuda. However for some reason it's not being detected - tried switch power cables and sata ports. The odd thing is that the BIOS detects it but Windows just doesn't want to show it at all.

First time I have been running two drives so not too sure as from what I already know is that you don't have to mess around with slave/master jumpers etc because they run on different channels, so I figured it would just run :P

At a loss, help please :)
 
I had a similar thing on a new build recently.... I suspect it was because I didn't have the data drive connected when I installed Windows. Like you it was detected by the Bios etc. in the end I just reinstalled with everything connected and bam it was detected and working.....
