HDD dead?

Hey,

So, recently, my games have been CTD-ing, but not overly. Yesterday, I couldn't start anything except Rift. Today, I tried to format, as I couldnt get into Windows. Formatted okay, reinstalled windows, with a bit of hassle. But, I cannot get into windows still..the HDD cannot find Windows it seems.

Can anyone help me diagnose this?

reset bios then try reinstall windows. it may be a dead HDD or a dead Sata controller or you have have set bios wrong after reinstall

can you test the HDD in a system with same chip type AMD or intell? if you install windows and run the system ok then put the hdd back in your problem system.
