Recently my Laptop HDD died. I bought a new one and have installed windows on it. I now want to recover the data on my old one.
I have the sata - usb pen connection. Only problem is my desktop and laptop dont see the drive at all. Not even in device manager never mind disk management.
The error before it died was that it couldnt find a bootable drive. So I think the boot sector has gone.
Does anyone know of any software that would let me recover straight from the HDD.
