Hi there, I'm looking at an HDD enclosure at the moment which only ahs about an hour to go. But there is one bit I'm unsure about, it says suitable for all 3.5" 9.5mm IDE hard drives.....

What does the 9.5mm refer to?

I'm looking to put an 80gig WD caviar in there, which according to website measures:

Depth: 14.7 cm
Height: 2.6 cm
Width 10.2 cm

Will this fit???

Edit: could someone please move this to the HDD section, I thought I was in there when posting but obviously not!!!
Any help mucho appreciated!!!

Yeah, sounds like a type on the description. Does the enclosure come with an external power brick or is it bus powered by USB (might have 2 USB plugs)? If it's the former then it's likely for 3.5" drives, if it's the latter then it's definitely for 2.5" laptop drives.

The ad says it comes with:

USB 3.5' hard disk case
USB connection line
Adapter with UK plug

Have asked the seller wethere it is definitely for 3.5" drives but not heard back yet.
