I have http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SC-012-AS together with http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-003-ER and I'm getting horrific static noise through my speakers, especially when my hard drives are working. My speakers are connected to the rear soundcard panel, however connecting them to the front panel seems to fix the problem. I've tried different speakers and headphones with the rear port and I still get the noise. I'm pretty sure I didn't have this problem when I first got the soundcard so I'm not sure what's changed.
As I'd like to use the front port for headphones and not have to keep swapping the cables I was wondering if anyone knew of any fix for this. I'd rather not spend another £20 on a new sound card if I'll get the same result. I've googled the problem and tried a few things but they haven't worked for me.
