HDD not detecting in BIOS.

So I ordered a desktop from OCUK a while ago, and it arrived today; I've just finished setting it up, and it works excellently, apart from one thing - the 2TB Seagate HDD isn't showing up. The 240GB Kingston SSD is, and that's where everything is right now - but the HDD isn't in Device Manager, and it's not showing up on the BIOS either. The FAQ suggests opening up the tower, but I'm not sure if that'd do anything to the warranty.

Any suggestions?

Edit: It's showing up in Device Manager now, but it's hidden. Device status message:

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."#

^How should I go about doing this?

do a post in the CS section of the forums and see what they suggest.

does the case have a window on it? can you see the HDD? maybe the sata cable or power cable came loose in transit.

if you feel up to it take the side of the case off and re seat the sata cable and power cable to the HDD and the other end of the sata cable going to the mobo and power on again
