HDD not detecting in BIOS.

So I ordered a desktop from OCUK a while ago, and it arrived today; I've just finished setting it up, and it works excellently, apart from one thing - the 2TB Seagate HDD isn't showing up. The 240GB Kingston SSD is, and that's where everything is right now - but the HDD isn't in Device Manager, and it's not showing up on the BIOS either. The FAQ suggests opening up the tower, but I'm not sure if that'd do anything to the warranty.

It's showing up in Device Manager now, but it's hidden. Device status message:

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

^How should I go about doing this?

Update: A couple of the cables looked a bit loose, so I pushed them back in; still nothing in the BIOS, though. Will it show up there if it's connected properly?

Update II: The SATA connector came out again - because the cables attached to it were too big for the case. Every time I put the case back on, it pushed the connector out; it's one of those L-shaped ones, so the cables poke out a bit.

I've put it back in, and propped the case against the open tower - the HDD is showing up in the BIOS and Device Manager now, and it's formatting (1%... 1.1%... 1.2%...).

Is it worth getting a new SATA connector and screwing the case back on?
