Hi all,
Put a new samsung spinpoint F3 1TB HDD into my machine last week, installed fine, recognised fine assigned a drive letter, appeared in my computer all was good.
This morning i suddenly notice it isnt listed in my computer. Opened up disk management to see that it is recognised, but without a drive letter.
Tried to assign a drive letter and got an error saying that it cant do that because disk management is not up to date, so i refreshed it same again, restarted my pc, same again.
Even tried deleting the volume and re-mounting, it startes to format the drive, and then i get the up-to-date error again.
Any thoughts??
i presume the drive is ok as it is being seen by the PC just not used by it
