I've create system images before perfectly fine with the built in Windows imaging software available in Windows 10.

Today when trying to create an image suddenly my secondary drive (D: drive) it doesn't show up on the list anymore.

It now lists my D drive as a system image and wants to back that up?

Please can anyone help with this issue?

Thanks

I just tried starting up my system with just the SSD (OS drive) and it loads up fine so not sure why my secondary drive doesnt show up and then shows up as system when trying to do a backup.

It surely doesn't contain any boot files as my system loads up fine with the drive disconnected.

I disconnected my drives and reconnected but still same issue.

I have already used my 2nd drive to create an image on it which was about 3 weeks ago. It's today i decided to create another backup where it fails to pickup and shows as a system drive instead.

the only things that changed in the the 3 weeks is newer windows updates, origin and steam updates. Both origin and steam are on my 2nd drive which is where i have all my games stored.

Could it be because of origin and steam being on d drive that it thinks its now a system drive? i created an image on d drive before with no problems while having steam and origin being on d drive. I'm thinking maybe a new client update might have triggered something?
