I'm after a certain type of recovery software, if the following would be available. If anyone knows any suggestions, please let me know.
In short, I'm trying to recover data from an Xbox 360 HDD. I believe it's formatted with a 'FATX' file system, so it's not your standard NTFS/FAT file system.
I've tried a few bits of software, and they required running from within Windows, and the drive needed a drive letter. I managed to assign a drive letter to the disk without formatting it - but the software couldn't read from the disk, and required it to be formatted.
Does anyone have any suggestions for bootable recovery software, that doesn't require a drive letter assigned, and doesn't require the drive to be formatted with NTFS/FAT32?
