HDD replacement.

Hey guys, my HDD has died and I need to replace it and obviously I don't want to pay apple £200 to replace it with a hdd and charge me a fortune, so I'm going to do it myself as I'm out of warranty anyway.

Would this HDD be okay to replace it with?

What year is the Mac and what uses do you have for it, might be worth getting a small ssd if you just browse as it will be much faster than the 5400rpm drive you linked.
