HDD Screws

HDD screws aren't 25mm long, that's way too long. Every hard drive I've ever mounted has used screws approximately 4mm in length.

I've just googled 'HDD mounting screws' and got lots of results

no these are about 25mm long .. they go through my old antec 1200 cage and into the HDD itself. They are only slightly shorter than fan screws .. I have tried shorter screws that came with a SSD but they will not reach the thread of the HDD. I used the same screws with my 2 WD HDD a week ago .. I have 2 spare 1tb Samsung drives that I want to make use of and I need another 6 screws ..

A ruler or tape measure will suffice for working out metric size of any screw you have(and conversion tools are available online for converting to imperial or inverse conversions), diameter icluding thread = metric diameter, M3 is 3mm, M4 is 4mm, and so on.
