Just a quick question.

Current HDD has 2 partions (OS & Data) new drive is an SSD.

So my question after installing OS on SSD can I reconnect the HDD to access the Data partion for drivers to start with but also my other data or will the OS partion cause problems when I first boot? I'll delete that partion once I'm in windows.

Thanks

James

When you install Windows on your SSD you can access all the data on the other drive on both partitions after reconnecting it.

When you boot into Windows from your SSD the two partitions on your hard drive would be mounted like a regular hard drive and the files can be accessed like it :) I used to do this to get files from a old Windows install.
