HDEWcameras..

I assume you already know, but they deal in grey imports (hence the lower prices). This means that Nikon/Canon etc may not honour any warranty.

Yeah most warranty will be through HDEW rather than the manufacturer as they're imports. That said they've been around a good few years now and seem reputable so it's a reasonable chance to take.

Haven't used them myself but was about to buy my last camera from them before finding a used bargain.

Cheers everyone , I'm looking at a D5300 for my daughter , it says you get the standard 1 year warranty that Nikon offer then they have 2 years of their warranty so making 3 in total . Seems a good offer

I got my Nikon 5300 from there and no problems so far :)

I bought a lot of my m43 gear from there. Very good company. Great help in sales. Replies to emails. Fast delivery etc etc...I'd recommend them to anyone.

:)

I've no idea. I'd actually email them and ask if they will be having Black Friday sales. They'll give you an answer I imagine.

I got my D5300 from Portus Digital, they have some deals on a regular basis. NIKON D5300 DSLR + 18-55mm AF-P VR + 55-200mm VR II LENS currently £499.
Andi.

I brought my D810 a 14-24 and 70-200 from them always with a great service and I've not had any issues with servicing at Fixation.

Not sure on the warranty they do though never had to use it and just saw it as a nice leaflet in the box.

Quite a few years ago now, but I bought a DSLR plus a bunch of lenses - about £800ish in all. Gear turned up quickly and as expected, never developed any faults or anything. All good :)

I purchased a Nikon 200-500 from them and had it checked out and firmware updated by Nikon UK, I sent a copy of the receipt so they knew it had come from them.

I spoke to them and they said if i had a problem with the camera it would be sent to a Uk Nikon repairer

I had a warrenty repair from digital rev who operate on a similar basis, I sent the camera to a UK repair centre and as long as the repair centre said that the fault would usually be fixed under warranty then digital rev were happy to refund the costs. It all worked excellently.
