Hdmi 2.1 at 5 meters

Hi all

I'm looking to achieve for the following with a 5 meter length hdmi 2.1 cable.

4k/120hz/4:4:4/Vrr/Hdr

Would It be best to get a copper hdmi certified cable or fibre optic certified cable. As at 5 meters is where copper certified ends and fibre optic begins. It would seem somewhat of a grey area.

I don't think many 2.1 cables will be good at 5m. I've had 50/50 experiences with a few at 3m. Fibre optic for sure.

Yeah I was gonna say there shouldn't be any issues with 5m cables, maybe once you get over 15m it might be time to think about fibre. As Purgatory says try a well reviewed cable from Amazon and if it doesn't work you can always return it.
