Hey
has anyone managed to run 3dmark06 when using a dvi-hdmi cable?
If i use the component video (HD-out) on the graphics card it runs fine. Using a dvi-hdmi connector on the other hand fails when it reaches the cpu benchmark. im guessing its because of resolution? but dont understnad why this would crash out my system rather than just stop/bomb out of the benchmark.
Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

I do mate, never had a problem. One thing is on my 42" plasma 3dmark06 defaults to 1280x768 (obvious when you think about it) coz its widescreen and gives misleading results! The normal default is 1280x1024 (or summit like that) which is 4:3 so i always hook up my 17" crt monitor for benching. :)

yer i normaly use a monitor for benchmarks too. but this new system was made to sit under the tv. I sorted my problem out .. it was a driver issue, soon as i changed to 91.37s from the 45s 3dmark worked fine with the DVI-HDMI cable.
