So confused. I've always used HDMI to my 37" Samsung TV to play movies.
Now randomly the audio isn't working.

Checked on device manager and nothing appears to be missing.
Looked on the NVIDIA website too.
Graphics card is a NVIDIA GT520.

Sorry if it's something stupid but I'm not very good at this stuff.

Curious to see a resolution to this as my HTPC (Acer Revo D3610) has randomly done the same - no longer outputting audio through HDMI (onboard nVidia ION). It used to work and I swear I changed nothing!

Check the TV volume
Check the TV audio input selection (you can choose optical on some whilst the video comes in through HDMI)
Try another HDMI cable

I had a £1 hdmi cable lying around the other day, plugged it into my netbook to watch something on the TV. Only video was working, put in my £5 one and the sound started working!

Yeh tried all that. Tried an aux cable too. Surely that would work.
Into the headphone jack then into either of my headphone ports on my pc?
Didn't though. :S.

Managed to get it to work. Updated my drivers all sorted.
I did recently wipe my computer completely, new OS the lot and I can't remember if I actually tried the HDMI since. So was more then likely I had old drivers.
Thanks all. :).
