HDMI auto switch compatible with Apple TV

Hi

We recently bought a cheap Duronic HDMI switch for our meeting room at work, however this does not appear to work with the Apple TV. It does not switch to other devices when they are turned on.

Further research indicates that the HDMI port on the Apple TV is "always on". Thus, the switch will not automatically move to another device when powered on.

Can anyone recommend a switch that is compatible with the Apple TV?

If the Apple HDMI remains "always on", then surely you're not going to be able to use an auto switch? The problem isn't the switch, it's the Apple TV. You need a button operated switch; where mechanical or remote controlled.

I have the button operated duronic for SKy and AppleTV to a single hdmi and it works fine for me, iirc the appletv goes into sleep after an hour or so, so ther may not be any power over the hdmi to power the switch.
