HDMI bad quality fix?

I recently upgraded from integrated graphics to the new AFX 8gb RX480, and it requires me to use a hdmi cable instead of DVI. I use my TV as my monitor as the quality is better when i use a DVI, but now im forced to use the HDMI because there isnt a DVI on the RX480.

But now the quality has gone down, ive tried everything.. adjusting the quality to updating all the drivers, ive even just bought a HDMI to DVI off aBey to see if that works..

Are there any short term fixes that could solve my problem?

My specs are:

Monitor: Logik L22LDVB21

AMD A8-7670K 4.2GHz Quad Core CPu

Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 AMD Socket FM2+ Motherboard

2x Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 Ram

1TB SEAGATE BARACUDA SATA3 7200RPM 64MB Cache Hard Drive

AFX 8GB RX 480 GPu

CX600W Corsair PSU

You'll probably find that it's using limited RGB mode and you might need to change it to Full RGB.

Also are you running at the native resolution of the TV? I assume it's 1080p?

If it's looks like it's set to the wrong res, but isn't it's probably overscan setting in the monitor. Unfortunately Monitor manufacturers seem to hide the option to disable this just for the sake of it.

So you want 1:1 pixel mapping.

If there is a option to change the HDMI input setting on the monitor "HDMI > PC".
It might be in a menu that looks like a naming only thing, but in reality it's way more important as it tells the monitor what signal type that port is connected to.

This is what I did on my Samsung 2333HD.
