HDMI CABLE -HDMI 2 PORT

Hi folks

I just got a new monitor ASUS MX27U 4K

It has three ports HDMI 1 30hz HDMI 2 60Hz and Display Port 60-130 hz

HDMI 2 doesn't work , flashing screen -green-black- various artifacts

HDMI 1 and Display Port are fine, no problems

MY Motherboard is Asus Maximus Ranger V111 Ranger
Graphics card AMD Radeon RX460 - 2 MB
CPU i7 6700
16GB Ram
750 watt power supply

I have tried different drivers but with no success .

Could it be the supplied HDMI cable ?

Quick fix ...

I tried another cable that came with my older Samsung monitor and HDMI 2 @ 60HZ works fine ! Strange that a new cable that came with the monitor doesnt work .... I guess they must be using crap suppliers
