Anything wrong with using this cable to drive 1080p @ 60hz on an IIyama ProLite E2473HDS monitor?

Description doesnt say what it supports etc. so dont want to buy it and it not support it :/

If it is a half-decent looking cable then it will most likely be fine. With HDMI there are two tested categories of cable, category 1 and category 2. Cat 1 are tested to run 720p@60Hz or 1080i@60Hz, cat 2 are tested with 1080p@60Hz. Usually, short (under 5m) cheap HDMI cables will happily carry 1080p@60Hz, however there often isn't any guarantee.

Personally, I would go with this cable. How long is the cable you are looking to get?

I know this doesn't really answer your question but it frustrates me when you hear of people buying a HDMI cable for £100. Wether you buy one for £2 or £100, they all do the same job and people need to understand this.

I pretended to be looking for one in 'Currys Digital' acting as somebody who didn't know what to choose a couple of months back, and I asked the sales person the explain the difference between the price range. His answer was the thinker the cable the better. He didn't know what he was talking about. How can a thinker brade on a cable make it more effective?........it cant.

Edit: what 'cmndr_andi' linked will do nicely :)
