Moving my TV and amp setup shortly into a new room and have decided it would be a good time to update all the HDMI cables (as I have already bought replacement speaker cable so why stop there). I need 5 x 1m to go from devices into the amp, then 2 x 1.5-2m to go from the amp to the TV and from the extra 6th device also straight to the TV.

The HDMI cables I have at the moment are a mix and match of ones that are anything from 2 to 4 or more years old and a variety of different lengths.

I have found some nice braided ones (listed as kinps hdmi cable) which come to £36 for the 7 cables so just over a fiver each. Seems like a good compromise on price v build quality to me, any thoughts?

Edit scratch that, although title says v2.0, descriptions suggests 1.4 only. So still looking.

There ver little difference in hdmi cables from £5 cables to the more expensive ones. Digital cables aren't like the old analog when the more expensive generally gave you better quality sound and audio. The only difference these days is the build quality and the looks.

May as well get hdmi 2.0 cables to future proof the setup if you can.

Think I have found some that are 2.0 and also look good with braiding. Ibra Orange. £33 for the 7 cables.

Had the Ibra Orange cables delivered. Very impressed with the build quality from an initial inspection.
