Really, does anyone fall for this?

I have had some poor cheap cables but most are fine and I'm fairly positive that, particularly over short distances, there is no difference in picture/sound quality.

The 20m one is £1432.80. But don't worry, it was £1592.00.
There are lots of threads on this. There is no difference.

I'd bet 10 times the price of that cable that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and the £1 hdmi cable I got from the pound shop :D
Sure, build quality is probably better.

Seems like they use the same witchcraft in manufacturing these as they do their speaker cable.
Products for the "more money than sense" brigade me thinks!

£531 for a 5metre USB cable............:p

Overall, he concludes that "this is a fine USB connection that brings a high level of precision and finesse to the computer audio at a reasonable price".
at a reasonable price...:D:D:D:D:D:D

I may order one of them 3m USB cables for my printer as it will print out better PQ photo's...:p:p

Yes they do. Hell, even on here, a website where you'd expect most users to have a reasonable level of common sense and technical knowledge, you get the odd few who are wholly convinced that expensive HDMI etc cables make big differences. They always sound as deluded as each other.

What you need is one of these as well LINK

Now, in our opinion, upgrading your £5,000 CD player’s mains lead to a Silver SuperKord SD II will bring about an even bigger upgrade than upgrading your player to the next model… and it’s cheaper. In that context, surely the Silver SD II SuperKords offer extremely good value for money?

Let me think...no.

I knew you could get over priced cables, but I don't even know where to start with some of these linked in here... People actually buy these

Another gem I just found on a £670 'SuperKord' power cable:
And don’t forget the improvements the cable can bring to your LCD, Plasma screen or projector’s picture quality. Images are clearer, sharper and colours are more vivid without appearing over-saturated.

Hilarious.

Erm I think you'll find there is a massive measurable difference between a £1500 HDMI lead and a £3 HDMI lead

£1497 Differance

What I find amusing about a lot of the cable talk and people who think it makes a massive difference is I doubt the studio's that actually record the content even use cables as expensive as the ones that some people do at home.

You should go to some of the HiFi show's and see the people filling the stand pouring over the stuff and asking "advice" from the sales staff......

Best was couple of years back I went to the Whittlebury show, in the evening Eleanor McEvoy was performing live (a favourite of mine). She had her kit set up with a right spaghetti of any old cables.... and her guitar amp on a chair ..LOL
On the front table next to the mix of cables was Russ Andrews the owner and peddler of such magic wire..... You'd thought he would have loaned a few for the show and tidied it up.... ;)

The other classic moment on another table was a magazine editor who couldn't clap in time to the music !!!! ......... And I'm a subscriber that mag :(

Oh Eleanor was brilliant, shame most had gone home before she came on in the evening, they were clearly more interested in cables than real live music ;)

Now I will say that those cables are a load of bull, but a few years ago I was given free of charge some pretty pricey copper cables to replace the steel ones in my Sennheiser HD25's, and I did notice a difference. Now copper is a better conductor than steel but electron flow is electron flow right? It just totally boggled me since what I heard conflicted with what I assumed it would be.
