HDMI/Home Cinema Question

Recently purchased a Sony DAV-TZ140 with the 1 HDMI output, and also got myself a HDMI splitter, 1 input and 2 outputs.

Will this mean - that I use a HDMI from the Home Cinema into the splitter, then using the splitter I can output 2 HDMI cables into my SKY+ box and my PC and get sound that way.

I want the sound from the home cinema system on a PC and the Sky box. HDMI transmits both audio and video does it not?

Ah right, thats annoying. Thanks for the reply. So I wouldn't be able to use it as speakers for the PC via HDMI?

Thought I was being dumb, and you've all proved me right

Ill most probably just connect the Sky box up with stereo cables then, and use the CD player on it. Sound wise, its actually quite good for the size room it's in and the price of it.
