My Xbox and PS3 are taking up the 2 optical slots on my amp.
Currently on my PC I have a Gigabyte DS3P motherboard which has onboard coaxial which is what I'm using.

But now i'm building a new dedicated HTPC, I want the HDMI to the TV and a digital signal to amp.

Alternatively, although I'd rather not because i want to get a slim case, what micro ATX motherboard has coaxial digital, and I can just a graphics card.

I was thinking AMD energy efficient ones, but actually it gives me an excuse to upgrade my main PC and put my old E4300 in this one.

sweet.
Thanks.

Would i lose any quality with these cheap converters.
Plus aren't they powered?

I would like to reduce the number of wires and plugs.
