HDMI Issue on graphics card

Hi All,

Not really sure where this belongs but i have an issue with the HDMI port on my graphics card and i cant get it to work.

This is actually the second graphics card as i sent the original back thinking it was the card at fault, it wasn't however as the same issue is still in place on the new card

First up my computer specs

Win10 - Fully Patched
Intel Core i5 2500K
ASUSTek P8P67 Pro Rev 1.xx Rev 09 Rev B2
BIOS version 2303 (i have tried the later versions of the bios but they fail to install and i believe its because my motherboard is an older revision)
GTX 970 Striix with the latest nvidia drivers and the latest grpahics bios installed

So when i try and use the HDMI port nothing happens even if that is the only display adapter i use. I have tried mutliple configs using different dvi with hdmi and hdmi on its own and nothing gets detected

Its almost like the port is turned off or something. Im getting very different so i was wondering if there is any help out there at all?

Have you tried a different hdmi cable? Could it be an issue with your monitor, try connecting to a known good device like a TV.

Are you using a straight hdmi cable or are there adaptors?

same problem on two cards ? wow..... yeep check if there any adators i would also suggest if possible install the graphics card on another desktop or a friends computer...
Try also installing the drivers from the cd not from thier website
