What is peoples opinion on the best monitor with HDMI and if makes any difference over DVI. Thinking of getting the

Dell SP2309W 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor

This is to go on a 5870

I'm only using dvi on my sumsung. had to connect the other computer to the same monitor as the old one died a day later. monitor was on a different refresh rate so I couldn't use the analogue so had to use hdmi. It's awful, slightly windowed for some reason.

I think most monitors have hdmi on them for upscaling to full hi def from ps3's/360's.

Yer thought as much, get the same when have laptop on LCD TV through HDMI. May try DVI to HDMI cable i have

Which samsung do you have and do you like it.
