I'm having trouble getting any video signal on the Asus X470i Gaming monitor with an HDMI cable. This SHOULD just work shouldn't it? I can't see any drivers on the Asus site pertaining to video though.

What processor are you using? Only 2200G and 2400G have on-board graphics. If you are using one of them then the drivers are:

Ah that'll be it then, I'm using a 2700X. Was just looking for a temp solution as I've just sold my GPU, but obviously this won't work lol.
