Hi guys,

here's a little conundrum for you all. I've recently received a 24'' Samsung (P2450) screen that was connected to my HD5770 via a dvi cable. I thought, heck with it, if I'm getting a 24'' screen I may as well get a card that will run on max resolution and without hickups - upgraded the 5770 to a 6970.
Now, I haven't tried the dvi cable yet as I went straight for an HDMI one that was with the card, but to my surprise, despite the screen being at max resolution I have bits cut off on all sides of it trimming the display by an inch or so. I am currently updating the drivers to 10.12 to see if that helps anything, but in the mean time - would any of you happen to know what may be causing thins? I cannot run auto adjust on the monitor, I'm being told it is disabled, manually adjusting the size is unavailable as well. In short...halp!

The dvi cable works fine. Will check CCC in a sec and give you an update.

Overscan worked, thank you kind sir. :) 0 was bit overkill, but managed to get the sweet spot :)

Ive found the same issue, but its with the image quality, Dvi-Dvi cable works great (5970) as im getting my second monitor today, ive bought a HDMI cable and a DVI-HDMI adapter for the card end of it, so the HDMI cable is pullged straight into the monitor, now im having issues, as the image seems, slightly blurred to me, the DVI-DVI image looks great, everythings crisp and inplace, the HMDI on the other hand, had issues with the monitor not quite getting the Resolution right, so I used the CCC's Overscan function to fit the screen perfectly, but now i'm having the issue of 1 blurred screen, has anyone else seen this issue, and short of buying a Dvi-Dvi cable, is there a fix?

In the monitor menu go down to Setup & Reset then scroll down to PC/AV Mode and change it to PC. Your screen will suddenly look much better and you will no longer need the overscan settings. Auto setup only works on this monitor when it is used in analog mode, not with hdmi or dvi. :D
