Hi,
I just finished building my dads pc.
I tested it on my 22" LG screen, which ran great @ 1600x and 1900 x.
Then tested it on my 42" LG @ same res, ran really smooth.
So took it round my dads, set it up on his 42" HD samsung lcd via
(from the pc) DVI - (to the T.V) HDMI,
And the writing on the fonts we're terreble.
he has 3 HDMI's on the t.v, so i tried a different one, wich corrected it.
So i tried Tigerwoods 08, and fifa09 (just like i did on my 42" lcd).
In tigerwoods, it would only show @ 1200 x max. so i tried that, again the fonts we're terrible, but ran smooth. so i went down to 1024 x, which corrected the fonts, but ran so jumpy. hmmmm, headache coming up i thought.
So i thought i'd try fifa09. tried all res, max being 1900 x. ran and looked so bad compared to my screen.
so in the end i tried DVI to VGA at max res of 1024 x in all games.
and everything ran smooth, and looked a lot better also, but not as nice(in my eyes) as it should do via DVI TO HDMI as it did on my 42" screen which looked amazing. just shows having a good screen for games is a must if you're a gamer like my self. so i'm abit pi**ed off now that he can't get the benefit with what i get. i'm sure you know how it is.

So what would you say is going on. is his screen messed up.
we tried all different setting on the t.v, which made no differents, and that was with 4 different cables.

If anyone knows why, or how to corrected this, that be great :)

Thanks a lot :)
