Am probably being super-thick here, but have had an irritating problem since the last update (and now on 296.10). When any video is started (media player, webcam etc) it seems to 'redetect' the input on my screen, so screen goes blank for a second, then restarts with the 'HDMI' input selection notice in the middle. Had a quick google and can't seem to find much, is this something I can turn off as its really getting on my nerves :|

GFX = EVGA Nvidia 560Ti

Monitor = Iiyama B2409HDS

Can someone give me a clue please ;)

No-one else having this problem? I don't want to change back to DVI if I can get away with it, anywhere else I could look for a solution?

Hi there,

May I ask why you don't want to go back to DVI? Are you using the HDMI sound output?

If not, the image quality of HDMI and DVI is identical.

I had always assumed that HDMI would be better quality so was the way to go? I could connect it with DVI but would be handy to understand why its behaving this way with the HDMI output. It was working perfectly well until the update before last, so it can work, just wondering why it isnt ;)
