Just a question for anyone using a HDMI connection on their LCD tv. I have an LG 32LX2R and finally got an upscaling dvd/divx player which uses HDMI (Bargain at 40 quid too) however if i turn the dvd player on it knocks my TV channels off until the dvd player is switched off again. Any ideas? Not really a huge problem as if i turn the dvd player on it means i'm watching something on it so not watching the regular tv channels.

Well comparing it to my standard DVD player through scart and my new player upscaling to 720p through HDMI there is a difference. To be fair it's not massive and if i'd paid £100+ for the dvd player i'd have been miffed but as it is i've seen an increase in quality.
