I got a new X2900XT on order for a bargain £182 delivered and I'm planning on using the HDMI output for my T.V. I've got an X-FI Xtreme Music so will the sound be looped from that to the HDMI through the X2900 as the on board sound is disabled.
That one of the main reasons for swapping it for the 8800GTS to make it easy to hotswap from monitor to T.V.
