Hi all, I recently bought a laptop (samsung np550p5c) for a friend to use as a media pc.
I set it up last week and all worked perfectly for 5 days. All I did was plug the HDMI cable from the laptop and it worked automatically without me having to change the audio to HDMI.
Today when I went round to his house he said that there was no audio, but still video so I checked the settings and they were the same as when I left, also the green audio bar is going up and down like normal.
I tried a new cable and a different TV but still nothing.
Now I'm thinking either the laptop automatically updated itself to a bad driver or the HDMI port is Faulty.
