ive got a B-TECH BT939 4 INPUT HDMI SWITCH BOX running an Amstrad SKY HD+ box and HTPC into a single input TV with no problems if that helps?

What do you intend to use it for ?

I have just ordered a splitter for going between my av amp and my tv/projector from a well known book store for around US$26. It is powered so it should be able to handle the 16 meter HDMI signal to the projector and is remote controlled. I will feedback when it arrives.

Just for clarification (something I learnt when looking for mine);
HDMI splitter: 1 input to 2+ outputs. commonly used to split / direct output between a projector and tv.
HDMI Switch: 2+ inputs to 1 output. Commonly used to attach multiple source components to a single tv or amp HDMI input.
HDMI Matrix: 2+ inputs to 2+ outputs. Commonly used to allow the same source to appear on multiple screens or different sources to appear on different screens such as in a multiroom install.

Ok, mine arrived today from the UK online bookshop.

I bought the Cablesson® - 2 Way HDMI SPLITTER BOX 1x2 Port (1 input 2 output) - Active Amplifier - v1.3c *NEW VERSION WITH 3D* -1080p Full HD - Display HD on 2 TVfor around 25 quid.

I have just plugged it in and it is outputting to both outputs at the same time so no need for any remote control. The unit is about 2/3rds the size of a WD 2.5" external hard disk.

Had no issues with the signal running from my Yammy 667 amp via a free HDMI cable to the splitter then to the projector over a 16 meter HDMI cable.
