Hi does a multidirectional cable exist?

My monitor is HDMI, but i've only 1 HDMI slot on card, the other 3 are displayport.

I've been using an adaptor but it's started playing up. All the cables I've found need a DP source, into an HDMI outlet - and say they're not reversible.

Do I need another adaptor or does a cable exist somewhere?

I think your maybe confused about what you want.

I assume you have a HDMI monitor plugged into the HDMI socket on your card.
You also have another HDMI monitor and your card has only display ports available.

You want a 'display port to hdmi' cable.
This will connect the display port source to the HDMI socket on the monitor.
You can buy a cable that for £8-£10 quid.
If you spend a little more it will have `gold plated` connectors and most likely support higher resolutions.

This exhausts my knowledge, but just on the off chance you also have 2 more HDMI monitors, I would not expect to also be able to drive those using 2 more `cheap cables`.
I think you would need to start looking at the cables that have power.

Then you just use an existing HDMI cable.
This looks like the same thing, just a different brand.

The GPU is the source, so it sounds like the cables you've looked at are exactly what you want. The signal goes from the source (output / GPU) to the monitor (input), you don't need them to be reversible.

Not true. You can't run an HDMI source (graphics card) into a DisplayPort input (monitor) with a passive cable. You need an active adapter and the ones that worn properly are expensive.

You've also said output and source which are the same thing so your post isn't making much sense.
