HDMI to HDtv, flicker problems.

ok, so now I am having an issue with a flicker effect along the boarder of my desktop. Using a 1080p 60hz screen, only just got the P.c and this is doing my nut in. Bar at the end of the screen is constantly flickering. do I need to change my hz settings or something??

You can but try. Mine detected everything (AMD) and worked fine using a plasma as a second screen but make sure it's set to the correct resolution as well as refresh rate. For AMD it's under Desktop Management > Desktop Properties in CCC, I imagine it's simple for Nvidia too.

This might sound daft but also try wiggling the HDMI cable around to see if it has any effect.

I had similar problem with mine few weeks back, as stated above check settings in graphics manager, I think on mine although pc had dedected my tv it still set it slightly wrong, changing manually and lowering the hertz solved it
