Hi,

Is it possible to convert HDMI (PC) to VGA (PC Monitor) using a cheap adapter?

I'm not looking to play protected content. I just need to connect a third VGA monitor to my GFX card.

HDMI is a digital signal, VGA is analogue. It is possible to convert the signal from digital to anaogue, but it can' be simply adapted. While OcUK do not stock such converters, they are available but not a cheap solution.
Also remember that most graphics cards will ony allow output to two screens. ATI eyefinity cards can support up to 3 screens when using the Display Port connection (which can use active adaptors to convert to VGA, but again, not a cheap solution).
