I have a radeon X1950 Pro vga card and it has always been a good card but it does not support dx10 and i want a new card with hdmi on it so i can connect it to my 42in lcd so i can watch blue ray movies from my blue ray drive. I don't want to pay more than £200 unless i have to so any suggestions would be great on options an one more question, What is the series of vga card in the shops now my radeon X1950 matches too.

ATI 4870. It only has DVI ports but you get a DVI-HDMI adapter included. It also supports sound over hdmi.
You would see a big performance increase with this over a X1950 pro.
