I recently bought an HDMI to VGA convertor in order to run a Radeon R9 X Fury through a bog standard, Samsung LCD. However, after a few minutes of use it starts to cut out intermittently. I've connected the GPU to a digital monitor for testing purposes and all is fine, indicating an issue with the actual converter itself; I've noticed it gets very hot. Would it be worth me buying another one that hopefully doesn't have this issue, or is this a generally accepted consequence of HDMI-VGA conversion?
Cheers.
