HDMI via PC ?

Hey,
I noticed now that few laptops have a HDMI port on them (video & Audio)

As it is a bit of effort to have both Xbox and PC on at same time, to play films on my TV with the sound cumming from the TV i figured this would be handy.

i'v had a quick mooch but cant see anything like a PCI - HDMI port for a PC.

Any help?

Graphics card?!

DVI = HDMI less audio.

I've got an ATi Card with built in sound, so I get proper HDMI out.

ahhh... i myt review my Graphics card then and upgrade to one with a HDMI port.

PLus i have a Nvidia card on a crossfire mobo so....

i'm currently using a dvi to hdmi adapter that came free with my card. No sound, and the picture is a bit weird. Looks better coming from VGA imo.

DVI and HDMI are just a different shaped plug (Though there are a couple of different types of DVI ports). Theres no sound as DVI doesnt transmit it. If VGA looks better, then your TV / PC isnt set up correctly.
