Can some explain the difference? Been looking at the HP w2207 and it comes in two versions, the w2207 (DVI) and the w2207h (HDMI).

Is one type of connection better than the other?

PS: my graphics card has two DVI out puts, so i assume ill need an adapter for the HDMI version??

Cheers

The quality of the connections will be exactly the same.

The only difference being that HDMI also carries audio, but that won't be being used by your computer. (Perhaps in the future graphic cards will also carry audio).

You will need to use an adapter if getting the hdmi version.

As above, the signal carried is Digital so they are both going to give the exact same image quality as each other. If you want to connect PS3 DVD players much easier to your monitor get the HDMI version, otherwise there is no advantage and just stick with the DVI one.
