Hello guys what do you think is the best when it comes to Audio?

My sound Card does DTS connect and Dolby Live, I have my PC connected with HDMI into VSX-329 Also An optical for the DTS feature etc

But I can not make my mind up what sounds better haaa Encoding the audio into DTS or just letting the PC send over the HDMI stream and played back..

Do you guys notice any difference?

Dolby Digital and DTS are both compressed formats. HDMI can transmit uncompressed multi channel PCM. If you can use that, doesn't make a lot of sense to use DTS or DD, where they need encoded first on the PC then decoded on the receiver.
