dont you mean High Dynamic Range?
i dont think its a software issue, its a restriction of the hardware iirc

open exr or some form of hdr will not work with AA but it works on hl2

i noticed this on Oblivion. your unable to run AA + HDR. but i did read it was a hardware restriction. but u can do it in HL2 hmmm

HL2 uses a simpler sort of HDR. 16bit instead of 32bit iirc.

Nvidia cards cannot, and will not render FP32 blended HDR with antialiasing until the architecture is revamped in the next generation. It's purely a hardware issue.
