HDR and 8800GTS

Hi all
i was just looking at a Oblivion tweak guild and its says about
turning on HDR in Nvidia control panel. But i cant find it

the twaek guild is here http://www.tweakguides.com/NVFORCE_6.html
about half way down goes on about HDR.

So where is it? i have looked in 3D settings and its not there.

so any help would be good...thanks

Why not just use HDR from in game??

i am with AA @8 but i thought about if i get other games i may need this option
that i cant find or has it been taken out..

HDR for Oblivion is selected within the games menu/graphic options.Nvidia control Panel allows AA and AF selection.

thanks..but i am trying to find out where the option is in nvidia control panel.
for other games..i just cant see it for the life of me.

i just re-installed the drivers and Ntune and its still not there
or have nvidia took it out?

Where is the enable HDR in the global settings?

i think you may be right,but i have googled and there are lots of posts
about turning on HDR. Now i cant sleep untill i find out why its not there at all.

Look at the tweak link i posted it says there turn on/off HDR

There's an HDR option in the nvidia 3d settings page, but I think all it does is say whether the application is allowed to use it or not.

maybe the option in the nvidia graphics drivers is only a selection of if it should allow a game to use it or not.....surely it cant force it into the game unless the game has been programmed with it in.

btw if u want to use hdr then like the guys have said...use the in-game menu to do it.

its not in recent drivers but it was there 3 or 4 betas ago. there was nothing to turn on, only the option to turn it off. its on by default. if you haven't got the option, stop worrying and trust what people are telling you.

ok i have given up. It just bugged me that some people had it and some did not.
