hi
Sorry if this as been asked before
I get that cheaper 4k HDR tvs tend to not display HDR correctly
I have been told to look for a HDR 10bit panel, but then reading some people say some HDR 8bit panels display better than a 10bit panel

When looking at specs of tv's it will just say uhd premium, HDR etc

How do i know HDR wise what im getting?
Asking all this in reference to the xbox one X
Want to use this for forza 7, gears, metro etc but also for 4k blurays

I want a good experience without breaking the bank

I have budgeted about a grand for xbox one x and tv
So about £600
But for me its knowing when looking at specs what to look out for because spec sheets just say "HDR - Yes"

Im off work due to illness at the moment, and only getting esa so saving isnt really an option
Sold a few figures/vinyl and raised a fair bit which is where my £1k came from

They showed last night xbox one x/scorpio can natively play forza 7 at 4k/60fps

Thats what i want to play

No i meant i want to play games like forza at 4k/60fps
I also want to play gears 4 (already own), gears, metro etc
Whilst im off work gives me something to play

I currently have the xbox one S and getting the xbox one X in november yes!

If i could get a decent tv now then so be it, or should i wait it out until closer to the X release date and hope a better TV as dropped in price?

Its just whether or not i get proper HDR etc, never seen a 4k tv in action, so wouldnt know the difference between true HDR and lesser HDR
