Hi, I'm thinking of getting a new centre monitor (LG 29WK600) to replace my trusty Dell U2913WM, however I notice it's HDR and I'm unsure of how nice this will play with my other monitors. What I absolutely do not want is for the new monitor to look visibly different on the windows desktop (background is a 6400x1080 image spanned over all three) as far as colour goes (blacks/whites aren't so much of an issue) like there's a big contrast mismatch.
So basically I'm wondering if you can turn off HDR on a HDR screen and use it like a regular SDR one or if it's something that's "on" all the time due to the panels design? Also I'm wondering if HDR is something that is enable/disable-able on a per app basis? I.E so I could run the Windows in SDR but fullscreen games/videos in HDR?
