I've noticed that a few headsets have announced HDR support for 2022. Such as the new PSVR and Panasonic headsets.

I have a Varjo Aero that will be shipping in a couple weeks and no mention of HDR. HDR has been a game changer for my PC gaming and home theater.

I wonder if I should cancel the Aero and wait to see what comes out later this year. Currently have an Index to hold me over.

HDR in VR would be awesome

PSVR2 is leading the front, offering game changing features and technologies to revolutionise VR

There will always be something better around the corner i.e. when hdr is de facto in vr headsets they'll be some new tech in the next gen to supercede that. Enjoy your aero imo, it'll be cutting edge for atleast 12 months i think. Actually, cancel it please, so i'm 1 place further up the delivery queue :o

I'd imagine future ones will considering HDR is a main marketed feature of the new forthcoming PlayStation VR headset model.

I wouldn't necessarily cancel, but if you're that fussed about HDR then it's up to you if you want to wait....also do you even have a ps5 or planning on getting one? Psvr 2 is the one to get for gaming!
I love how you say yo have an index to 'hold you over' as if that's a crappy substitute headset
